The best sick note ever

I think that's dreadful. The girl may well have had worries about PE that she didn't even want to tell her mother. She's never going to now, is she? I'm not saying the mother should have written a note but to make fun of her own child like this is appalling. A great lesson in how not to get on with your teenager. You need your Mum on your side when you are going through the teenage years, not making cheap shots at you.

HaHa that reminds of a time when I was in college I threw a sickie and asked my dad to write me a note as to why I had the day off, next morning he gave me an envelope and not bothering to read what he wrote I handed it in, my lecturer was in stitches reading it and passes it to me - this was in the early eighties before swine flu.

Dad had put " please excuse Jacqueline for being absent yesterday, she had a touch of swine flu in fact she was really pig sick of college and took the day off to recuperate"

It was still on the staff room notice board when I left 2 years later!

I think that was my mum writing a good few decades ago!!! I hated seimming lessons and would do anything to avoid them... It was because I'd almost drowned coming off a lilo in Portland harbour and was and still absolutely petrified of going out of my depth. Loved all other sports but that could well and truly have been my mum writing for my swimming lessons!! Made me chuckle when reading it.
