What great memories, it is also close to the lovely (Italian ice cream) town of largs. I am now home sick.It's in Renfrewshire, near Johnstone.
Worked and dealt with a lot of the mining community of Fife. Some thought them a bit rough & uncouth but it was a hard life and I found them great!I thought it as brilliant.
I can't say I 'worked' with people like him, as obviously he didn't work, but they were close enough to him.
The pubs were similar to his local though!
