I've just recently been started on Levonorgestrel after having to have coil removed for a while. Since taking them my BS seem to be creeping up quite dramatically and despite several correction shot's I can't seem to get them to come back down. Has anyone else had this problem?
 
@Natalie1974 I'm on a pump. I had to put my basal levels up when I was on the pill. I'm not sure if it was the same one as you, but it definitely put my blood sugar up and meant I needed more insulin.

Maybe monitor it to see if there's a definite pattern/rise, then adjust your basal insulin if necessary.
 
Hi Azure...thanks for that...I did wonder about adjusting basal level...its still early days...only started them last week...will give it a few more days to see if it settles down and maybe do some tweaking
