Right, had a sick day yesterday. Literary sick all day with the runs. Never had anything proper to eat just nibbled on a ginger nut biscuit. Took just my long lasting lantus. Feeling better today so want to eat. The question is do i just take the same amount of novorapid insulin for my meals and carry on a normal or should I adjust it. I just take a ser amount for each meal usually as that's what they told me to do at the hospital.

Just wanted to say that though I can't help with your question, I am glad that you are feeling a bit better now.

Glad to read that you are feeling better.

As the hospital has not provided advice on adjusting your Novorapid, I would take your usual set amount per meal.
This may be an opportunity to talk to them about adjusting your Novorapid based on carb counting and correction doses.
But recovering from your ordeal yesterday is probably your priority for now.

Hello @Wayne18000 Glad you're feeling better today :)

I go back to 'normal insulin doses' after illness. However as your body will still be re-covering just keep a close eye on your levels and take it easy.
