I'm currently on hols in Greece. On the first night I tried a recommended fish restaurant - I asked what the fish came with and was told special potatoes. I explained I'm diabetic and don't eat potatoes and asked if I could have salad instead "these are healthy potatoes" came the reply. I explained that potatoes are not healthy for me because of diabetes and repeated the request.
"of course" came the reply " i will make you a special salad and vegetables, no problem" great thought I until the very nice sea bass arrived with a aolitary tomato and a big bowl of chips - luckily I haven't had any problems in other restaurants here
