I know this diet has been discussed on the forums previously but what I would like to know is if anyone (type 2) is trying to live by this diet? If so, I would be interested in discussing it with you but I do not want a slanging match between members of differing opinions :(
Thank you. Judith :)

I hadn't heard of this diet, but looking it up on the internet, it looks interesting. I am looking forward to hearing what people are saying about it.....

If you want to, go for it. Doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. I low carb, and I also go to the extreme with calorie counting. It is me. Let us know how you get on and good luck :)

Hi sassy - I am already doing it - for 3 months now and the final proof for me will be when I get my cholesterol tested next week. During the time I have been doing it I have reduced my insulin by 30%, my bgs have lowered and I have lost about 8 kilos so have got my fingers crossed for my cholesterol results next week :) .
I was just trying to find others who have diabetes 2 and doing THD that is why I posted this.

Hi Jude, why worry what others think if it is working for you -- stick with it, if it isnt then dont.

But TBH you really dont need to spend money on any diet, the diet that will always work is called eating less and it actually saves you money too :D

"you really dont need to spend money on any diet" - what money do you think I am spending then? The THD is about eating real food, no sugar, no processed foods which works out to mainly being lowish carb and high fat.
