I had a lovely reminder yesterday that I had achieved so much by myself in 24 hours, no matter what the outcome from my hospital appointments- it was the first time in 18 montgs that I had driven myself 40 miles, gone to two hospital appointments by myself and that was the most positive thing.

I got my CGM Medtronic Connect yesterday and its great. Its going to make life so much easier.

Tomorrow is another challenge to face.
I find out if cancer has gone to my spine and whether I will be given the go ahead to have my 2nd mastectomy.

Todays challenge of not thinking about it all has been achieved...

Tomorrow I know no matter what the outcome that I can be positive. I will find positives in anything now.

Then I have to think of some more little challenges.

One challenge if I'm given ok from secondary cancer may be to get another dog.. envy @Ledzeptt walking dog....

I loved walking my dogs and its not the same walking without them.

Hope ypu had a good coffee with friend. Brilliant fbg!!

Good luck for tomorrow, honey - I'll be thinking about you x

Wishing you all the luck and my very best wishes for today. Xx

Best of luck, we'll all be thinking of you ...

Happy, happy, happy!!!!

Cannot believe that I now have such fantastic, brilluant hospital....for diabetes and cancer...

Coubting my blessings and so grateful for support abd good vibes today. Makes me feel so warm and goose bumpy and tearful (joy).

Thankyou.

Now I can really face true challenges in. The future not just overcoming health ones..

I am SO very pleased for you. Sometimes things actually go right for us. Delighted for you S

Awww, that is marvellous news that it hasn't spread to your spine, I'm so happy for you. You've been in my thoughts this morning. X

That's fantastic news! And I'm sure that your amazing positivity and exuberant optimism are just as responsible for that wonderful outcome as the efforts of your medical team. Well done, @donnellysdogs - you are an inspiration to all of us!
Massive, joyful hugs xxx

This morning I saw someone carry an "Andrex puppy" (Labrador retriever if you don't live in the U.K.) into the supermarket: obviously socialising it: very cute!

I treated myself to a hot cross bun for breakfast as a treat, with it being Lent (feeble excuse) and despite all the sugar, I spiked at 7.7 which was better than I thought.

Last week I bought some "sink unblocker" (the thick bleach type gel), but couldn't open the child-proof top, nor could my wife. I took it back to the shop's customer services today for an exchange/refund and of course, the assistant opened it straight away! (I don't have arthritis or anything.). So, it's positive in that I can now use the product, but also embarrassing/humbling that I was so easily defeated! Got to laugh

P.s. My daffodil buds still haven't opened: it's cold 'oop North.

Last night we had an unexpected visit from the son of an elderly neighbour who told us that his Dad was walking unaided again after being so ill that he couldn't stand without a zimmer frame. We are really fond of our neighbour so, hurrah! Today we heard that our son has secured the promoted job he wanted, hurrah again! All of our family got together yesterday and we had such great fun. Feeling really happy and Blessed today.

Oh so good for you too!!

Hope you snag a snuggle!!!

Today, thanks to a brilliant CGM (medtronic connect) I decided to watc what happened if I did not get up to do my 4am jab and 8am jab. First jab given was 9.30am..... just to prove to myself that my 4am jabs are totally necessary!!! And yes, ....... they are!!! And my 8am one too!!!

My routines are necessary!!
