The SCREAM thread

Letters from solicitors, regarding two family members crawling out of the woodwork and causing me distress and upset over the court deputy ship that is needed for my elderly dad. I said a few choice words, then calmed and cleaned things and have just wrote a long, polite and informative letter via FB, to one of them.
Arrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhh, bl**dy rotten families :(:arghh::banghead::arghh::bigtears:

I asked what's wrong on other thread. No need to reply on there. More big hugs and as it seems you are closest to your Dad tell the others to &%$# off and butt out.....

Bummer; families can be absolute **** sometimes.

You know what you have done for your dad, and the care you have taken to make sure that he's comfortable and well looked after. As for the others, sod 'em.
 
Work today and the last couple of days generally ... nothing get's done properly and before i can finish job A i have to start job B,C,D,E, ... and then i get complaints that job A isn't finished along with the rest. Then some colleagues get annoyed towards me and they're mistaking my general calm demeanor for endless patients. Almost reached the point of absolute rage today. Apparently it was showing and people were avoiding me and started acting apologetic. These sort of days have the tendency to build up to a certain point and i'm absolutely sick of it.

Needed to get this of my chest.

Hope tomorrow is a better day. I got to the stage once with 5 different people telling me their job needed priority .. Just said which priority job has priority !!!
For now, chill, relax, have a brew, put your feet up and forget them .... hugs
 
Work! Left home at 8.30 got back at 8! Could hardly keep my eyes open at school. If it hadn't been so important I wouldn't have gone in. Last pupil had to record his piano duet with me for his GCSE exam. I told the head of music I needed to leave at 3.10. Pupil had his lesson from2 -2:30. I thought record the exam duet straight after. Then home. Pupil saunters back in thanks me for staying and says that we can't record it today but we will do it on Monday. I make my way to sign out to be confronted by head of music asking where I was going? He then had kittens! You have to do it today! This meant I had to stay an hour longer (my own time). Well we recorded it and it was ok. The train was then 30 minutes late so I had 10 minutes home before going off to teach again.:grumpy:

Just tomorrow's looking stressful as well. Having my toes dressed by the nurse tomorrow. Then afterwards going to see the sight loss advisor at hospital then hopefully get an appointment at the emergency eye clinic about the gel the consultant prescribed that I've not been taking because of asthma. Also need to phone up the RNIB to ask for any tips before meet with advisor.

Gosh, that IS a busy day. Hope it all goes smoothly
 
Thanks guys, I just think my anger and frustration comes out, because the it's the things we think and know what we want to write, but we don't or cant, so I wrote a long message to the family member via FB and received a reply, hmmm, my teen wanted to get involved and write back, but I said no, I wont have her involved, because I don't want to 'do a Jeremy kyle'. Lots of deep breaths and tomorrow is another day.

I would love to say **%$ ^** and tell them what I really think of them, but I hold back and write a more business like message, it didn't seem to go down well :oops:, but that's their problem, not mine and no scream from me o_O:rolleyes:
 
Ages ago I bought a table lamp from Next, when I brought it home, discovered it took an odd sized light bulb, took forever to find one, last week the bulb blew, to be fair it has lasted about 8 years, so another trek to find elusive size, found a pack of 2, all good, £10 not so good, but duly purchased. Came home put new one in, then whilst putting the other away in my light bulb box, discovered I had one, screeeeeaaaam. Well silver linings they will probably outlast me if each one gives 8 years.

Scream 2, I have my eyebrows threaded (which is the 3rd most painful thing in the world) went to get them done and usual lady wasn't there. Well I'm missing half an eyebrow on one side and the other is so thin, it could be a fashion model in it's own right.
The missing side can be covered with hair, which needs a trim but is staying until MIA brow is back, the thin side which has a cracking never before arch will be pencilled in, one side of my face looks like I'm in surprise the other like I'm a bit strange (I know). Least I can laugh about it, after screeeeaaaming.:shy::wideyed:o_O:p
 
Another not so much scream as quitely weeping
My front tooth broke, I'm gutted, I had my teeth lined to prevent this, throwing up every other day is not good for your teeth, I just wished dr could fix me. Bum bum bum

If he's not deaf he should try listening. At least my friend knows he's a problem with his hearing but often instead of admitting he hasn't heard properly gives a vaguely appropriate response but I have him sussed most of the time
 
After the terrorist attacks in Brussels you read and hear the most insane insensitive opinions. It also hit pretty close to home, my father in law works in the subway, thankfully not near where it happened. My co-worker's kid was on the same subway where the bomb went off, just two carriages behind. But i hate how the victims are used as fuel for bigotry the very same day. You can't stop these kinds of things with more hate, it will probably be even worse when people grow up in an intolerant society. I for one will not add to this hate and intolerance but i feel like i'm swimming upstream with this opinion. It would be way too easy to hate today and i'm not in that mood, nor can i bring myself there.
