The SCREAM thread

Yes, it is 667.51 euro a month plus 5,390.40 euro per year. I converted that :) It is so frustrating for me . Yes we have to pay the 6k before the insurance pays and the monthly payment is not included.
Well 'liked' but not liked if you know what I mean :eek:

Have you had a good check up at the docs? As I recall you hadn't been officially diagnosed. May be that those 55gs or so of carbs is still too much. Did you say you have a meter? Don't remember that bit, so you can at least be sure it is your blood sugar levels. Take care of yourself, esp driving a truck x
My wifey is begging me to get checked out and I know that I should snd I'm coming to the realization that it's enivitsbld
I should get A meter soon and start checking more often

I'll send my cat round. She brought in 2 on consecutive mornings this week and a disembowelled bird this morning. Always a great start to the day:eek:

Mine tend to bring them in still alive (in order to torment them to death) but then let them go and let them run around the house! Took my husband about 2 hours to catch one in our bedroom once - Arrgggghhh!

One of our cats does this, but luckily the other one usually steps in and disposes of the prey, though it sometimes, erm, reappears later, if you know what I mean :yuck:

A previous mog of ours managed to catch a bat once, brought it in alive first thing in the morning, and then dropped it on the floor. Unsurprisingly, the bat started flying around and ended up on the landing, where the ceiling is quite high, and it took me half an hour of swearing and cursing to bring it to ground in a towel that I kept flinging in its general direction. Mrs hay-char absolutely refused to appear and help me, and shut herself in the bedroom. When I caught the bat, I took it downstairs and released it outside the front door, whereupon it immediately turned round and came back into the house again. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!

I was late for work that day but on the upside, my boss had never heard the excuse "I was trying to catch a bat in the house, and release it back into the wild" before and he didn't dock my pay. :D

LOL! That's hilarious! One of mine had a squirrel tail in the summer, I could see him playing with something through the french doors into the garden and I couldn't work out what he had until I went to investigate - totally put me off my porridge! :***: We discovered bits of body for several days after!

Renewable Energy company's, had two phone calls in the last week (probably the same firm) asking if I was interested in having solar panels fitted

I love watching them swooping around on summer evenings, but as far as I'm concerned, their place is outdoors :D

At one point, we were concerned (because of all the protected species stuff) that they might be roosting in the roof of our outbuilding, but they're not. In fact I don't know where they live, except that it's somewhere nearby....

We are lucky in that the bats flit around our land, giving the younger collie something to watch
Cant say the same about the owl:woot:s, their screeches set off the collies barking:rolleyes:

:mad:I definitely want to scream!!! It is my 50th in a couple of weeks. After an absolute horror of a year, one where I have lost the sight in my R eye due to Neovascular glaucoma, I was looking forward to getting friends and family together for an afternoon of games, food and fun. I am the musical director at a church and other people have had parties at the church. This building was built in 1753 and has managed to survive being bombed in ww2, several storms and a few mishaps with candles in services (at least we know that the fire alarm works!) But the newish vicar has been dragging her feet over it. Her comment a few weeks ago was 'but it'll be cold!' Unfortunately I can't afford to rent anywhere else. I lost my temper with her today. and she reacted by taking me aside and talking to me like a naughty schoolgirl. She has managed to alienate a good number of my friends there and now I'm obviously next on her hit list! Sorry all very dramatic but I just needed to let it out!!!!!!!!!Grrrrrrr!!!!!!!:arghh::banghead::depressed:

Know what you mean, years ago, we had a new minister(vicar) who objected to the noise of the grain dryers running on the local farms (this was in a rural community!) Exit a large number of parishioners:p

Not a good representative for lady vicars is she. Nor is her attitude what I would expect from someone in her position.
I hope you find somewhere to hold your get together.
