Given all the hot air we've applied to this thread of late I imagine an answer may be precipitated.

Enough precipitation will definitely (dis)solve (the issue with) glucotabs. But too little will only make the problem harder.

I use Glucogel, it has very little taste. You just squirt it in your mouth and that's it!
