The verbal abuse club

Good on yer, Scandichic, you've got the right attitude. Unfortunately there's always a little perisher or two around who think they can get away with this sort of childish obnoxious behaviour. Sometimes too there can be the occasional "respectable" old-enough-to know-better people who also take up this sort of petty behaviour. My first introduction to it was many years ago before PCs became popular, and several of us were regularly belittled, abused, and labelled as "spawn of the devil" for daring to be a PC user(!!) by someone who was a well known and respected author who became too big for his boots. I was horrified, not by the abuse hurled at us, but that it came from someone that I'd previously held in high regard.

but I was in the 'special' class at school, till I could tie my shoes. doesn't that count for anything:cyclops:?

Hi Scandi, sorry you had such an awful message on your profile, I know he/she was bashing on about reversing diabetes in some earlier posts, obviously some nutter who hasn't got anything more useful to do with their time. One day they may need help and support, hope they look back on this and feel totally ashamed of themselves, as they say "what goes round comes round". Anyway, so glad you've got an amazing sense of humour, you certainly need it with knobs like this around.

We are all behind you, well done with your weight loss, keep up the good work.

Lol, not sure if everyone ties shoe laces anymore jack .....;). glory to you and your flag .....you can be in the club really you can ....but the one that sends you love ......and it's not even valentines .....xxx

Sorry you had to deal with that Scandichic, unfortunately the internet has a lot of unsavoury characters... but at least everyone dealt with it in the right way. Good on you for sorting it out, Mo :D
