It's been one of those mornings when every one in the office seems to be talking about food constantly, what they had last night, what they are having tonight, how much they plan eating and drinking at the weekend. Then coming up to lunch time and everyone is being friendly asking if I want anything from MacDonald, KFC, the chip shop or corner shop and I have to politely refuse them all.
Now I am looking at an overstuffed ham, cheese and salad sandwich, between 2 bits of whole grain bread that I am trying to like as it is better for me and wishing it was just plain white, while sat in an office that smells like a chip shop even with all the windows open, and thinking this just isn't fair.
It doesn't help that my body has spend this morning trying to convince my brain that it needs a fix of chocolate, crisps or preferably both.
Sorry for the rant but I'm starting to understand why people go postal on their co workers.
I'm only 3 weeks into this new regime and I just hope this is just a bad day and it gets easier.
