Not an "Eye" reader then, and talking of funny names, 1973? :wink:

Thank you kindly sir.

The handle was bestowed on me by the landlady of a local pub. She said that if I could turn that much wine into water then I deserved a title.

Thank you my young friend.

I am simply the doting mother of one of Team GBR's Youth Laser sailors (the youngest girl in the youth squad too). A very proud mum, I hasten to add! :D

They make me laugh and i admire the creativity. Mind you i like slapstick and irreverent humour.
Anyone struggling to come up with a name I'm sure we could oblige some suggestions.

Brothelcreeper

Jesusboots

Lennys grid

Smelly jello

The bubbler

Thunder dumpling

Geek alert. My own Internet name comes from a portmanteau of my name, Terry, and my husband's name, Ron. TRon.

The 2112 comes from our mutual love of the Canadian band, Rush, whose breakthrough album in 1976 was called "2112".

We were married in 2012 (one hundred years early) on 21st of December - or 21/12/2012.

What an intriguing subject to highlight MCMLXXIII, very good. :thumbup:

Jesussandals, yes, but "Jesusboots", I googled it as I just couldn't visualize them lol.......

<quote>
Jesus Boots are godlike, they give you the ultimite power.
They are stylistic, hip, cool, bop'in, and bong'in.
They are the most comfortable jesus boots you can get;
a strap goes over the thinger, with the tonger, and connects
to the farghof which then gives you the carbon glandonate
producing the ultimite comfort
"yo man, where'd you get those jesus boots"
"What are jesus boots?"
"would you like to use some jesus boots"
"Are you wearing jesus boots"
"put your jesus boots on, its gonna be a wild night"
"jesus boots, they wont let you break the surface tension of water"
"oh man, you just fudged my jesus boots"
<end quote>

Jesusboots :lol: ....brilliant.

:wave:'scuse my ignorance, Tron2112, Is that the title of a song by Rush, or are you referring to your goodself?

"portmanteau" Thank you, I've used "amalgamation" in the past.

Sigh, I'm somewhat uneducated and rather plebeian, you see. :D

Inspired by the book "A pair of jesus boots" and the sequel "A pair of desert wellies":lol:

My name "izzzi" came with a "i" instead of a "y" + a free "z".

Not a Patch on other good names.
