Hey all , just wanted to say thanks for all the great posts on this forum its certainly making my life a lot easier. I measured my waist today and its shrank from the start of the month by 2.5 cms so really chuffed.

Anyway as some of you may know I'm in a band and we're raising money for the Trinity Hospice in Fleetwood on the Flyde Coast , Northwest.

We're performing on the back of a lorry and theres going to be loads of other fun things to do so why dont you come over and enjoy the sand sea and hopefully sun.

Its outside the Victoria pub, Dock Street Fleetwood.

Thanks all

I love the sound of a choir - what sort of music do they sing?

The Norwood Green Choral Society sang excepts from "The Merry Widow." Vilia is still a show stopper. Our last concert included Faures "Requiem" & "Canticle" of Jean Racine.

The Caroliners - aka Singing for Fun - sang a selection of songs from the shows, including Love Changes Everything, & ****-eyed Optimist.

All very well received.

What were you singing.

Hey Ian that sounds great.

Re my singing - I sing all my own songs as well as stuff my hubbie Paul writes. :D

Sunday. Lie in, read papers, tea, breakfast, kick kids out for some peace and quiet. Telly, lunch, beer, then watch footie/rugby/ something like that. Music. Yeah. Real old Blues and Rock. You can't get better than that man. Choirs, not unless I'm on my way to the pearly gates. Hope I don't hear that one for a bit.

D.
