Think you are having a bad day?

Fire authorities in California found a corpse in a burned-out section of forest while assessing the damage done by a forest fire.  The deceased male was dressed in a full wet suit, complete with scuba tanks on his back, flippers, and face mask.

A postmortem test revealed that the man died not from burns, but from massive internal injuries. Dental records provided a positive identification.

Investigators then set about to determine how a fully clothed diver ended up in the middle of a forest fire.

It was revealed that on the day of the fire, the man went diving off the coast, some 20 miles from the forest.

The fire fighters, seeking to control the fire as quickly as possible, had called in a fleet of helicopters with very large dip buckets.  Water was dipped from the ocean and emptied at the site of the forest fire.

You guessed it.  One minute our diver was making like Flipper in the Pacific, the next, he was doing the breast stroke in a fire dip bucket 300 feet in the air.

Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. but keep reading....

I still laugh and laugh at that 'misffortune' -makes my bad days feel better!

Its only a humour story.. Just makes me feel better that I dont put on a wetsuit... Otherwise, I would be the first with my luck!!!!

That makes it even funnier, donnellysdogs.....

The remains of a body is discovered, so badly burned that
the person was thought to have died from burns.
Yet the body was discovered fully kitted out in full wet suit,
scuba tanks, flippers, and face mask.
I mean, all that gear didn't burn along with the body!!!!!

Now I know it's called a "Wet" Suit, so no smartypants replys
at my expense please.

Greatly appeals to my silly sense of humour,
and gave me a huge chuckle.

Thank you.

Still laughing... Especially so in our non sunny summers.. I so long for a scuba diver to be dropped in to my back garden!! I would even give directions to the helicopter pilot!!

Ahhh! don't be so cruel. Mind you, a bout of Egyptian tummy inside a wet suit is no laughing matter, as I can vouch. That would have fertilised your lawn!

Can I hire you in a wetsuit? Could do with some lawn fertiliser!! Got to be cheaper than garden centres!! And the idea of belly troubles in a wetsuit amyses me even more than the original joke!!!

We stopped diving after 'er indoors saw something big and ugly in the water. I think it was just my reflection ... either that or I was providing 'rubby dubby' to attract the sharks! Too much information ...
