Thinking of changing my meter

I don’t know. My dr has always maintained that I couldn’t get hypos as such. And they have kept me the strips etc now I’m on trulicity.
As for my job she always was adamant a and insisted I didn’t test during work hours

Same with Trulicity... sounds really nice...

Meanwhile, back at the thread.........

any suggestions/recommendations for a different meter apart from the two mentioned?

i gave two. I have true metric air and nexus mini ultra. The true is the newest one. mon idea on price sorry. The nexus is fiddly to get data because it’s one button and you use that to do everything. I’ve never managed it yet.
The true has an app you link it to and it shows averages for 7,14,30,60 and 90 days and more. You can enter your isn sugar ranges in etc. Very easy to use as it’s the app not a button on device that you can’t reach anything

I should have added that I dont want to do anything connected to the internet, or data downloads or stuff like that. I just want to read my readings on the meter screen, and record them in my pencil and paper notebook. Something really easy to use.

I think if you have been content with the sd codefree, you will be just as content with the gluco navii, then. I changed from codefree to gluco navii recently.
Only thing I don’t like is the lancets. So I use the fadtclix ones that came with a long ago discarded Accu Chek meter.

You do not need apps or what ever with the Contour Next meter, it comes with a paper log book (you have to supply your own pen / pencil though) which are available from any pharmacy if you must physically write the readings down.

Most meters I have owned are the same, I just find life is a lot easier using a app to record my bgl data ready to print out / email to my GP.

Have been running the Tee2 and Gluco Navvii side by side for the past few days.

Gluco Navii reads consistently higher about 1 mmol/l

Over 7 days

Tee2 Average 5.1
Gluco Navii 6.2

I ordered some more Tee2 strips even at the higher price!

Interesting. I only have the Gluco Navii, and have been seeing slightly higher than usual numbers.
Maybe I can blame the meter.:)
