Thirsty Today

I was hoping someone could shed some light maybe.

Today I am extremely thirsty, I've had about 5 cups of tea and about 3 bottles of water, this isn't normal for me. :?

To give you some background, I'm Type 2 (diagnosed last Feb) and taking Metformin.

The only significant change I can think of is that I started swimming yesterday after a break of 2 months and also started a toning session. It's really annoying cos I haven't had this before. I also feel a bit light headed this afternoon.

do u check your bs levels? if so what are they?
if they are high that can cause thirst, there are many other undiabetic reasons that can cause thirstiness too

I've checked my levels today and they are around 9 which for me is about right at the moment.

it may be a virus or something similar, if youre bloods are ok then id try not to worry
