Just wanted to say that I've been doing a moderate low carb diet for 11 days now and my weight is already coming down - I weighed 75 kilo's this morning, down from 78/79 2 weeks ago.

Weight loss isn't the ultimate goal but it's certainly effective, I'm aiming at a target of 70Kg which will bring my BMI in to the 'normal' range and hopefully stop idiots at the hospital ticking the 'obese' box.
I'm not ultra low carbing either - trying to stick below 150g per day with exercise.
 
Glad you have found something that works for you swimmer, and no doubt your bg levels will be better for the weight loss and diet too.
