I have been having thrush on several occasions, and wonder why.I have type 2 have been to the doctors and was given a tablet and some cream. It seemed to get better then another rash appeared, can anyone help me plz.

its possible to get a reinfection or what ever you want to call it due to the spores being on wash cloths, clothing, dust, bedding, lifestyle even kissing, its a bit like a mould growing and it loves warm cuddly sweet things and places lol.

High sugar levels gives fungus an ideal breeding ground. If you bring your levels down, the thrush will go.

Hi. You almost certainly have high blood sugar. The Candida organism is always present on the skin but flourishes in the presence of sugar. If you haven't already got a glucose meter then do get hold of one. I suspect you may find your blood sugar goes into the teens sometimes and thrush results. Applying cream only works for a short time as sugar in the urine makes it return. If a meter shows that your blood sugar is near normal then do see the GP for further investigation. Note that if you are on Metformin it will only reduce blood sugar a bit and a low-carb diet will help a lot.

I think I have it to do you find you get a pain like an ache in your groin ?
