I don’t know if anyone can relate to this. When I have my morning break which is 1/2 an hour I eat my porridge there are a lot of foreign workers that eat heated up things like curry, spicy foods which is very smelly. It actually makes my stomach turn the thought of eating that for breakfast. There is nowhere else for me to eat. Are there any tips where I wouldn’t focus on the smell?

Not knowing your work-place set up, it difficult to suggest anything other than warming up your porridge and then taking the bowl outside to eat. If there is only one microwave, perhaps ask your colleagues if you could heat your porridge first, before taking it outside the room.
Also, I like MissMuffett's recommendation.

You could try rubbing something like Vicks VapoRub on your upper lip under your nose. This should overpower the external smells. It would probably also overpower the smell of your own porridge, so you might not like the effect, but it should be cheap to try and easy to get.

Could you have a flask of coffee and homemade low carb biscuits and have it in your car or have a stroll outside whilst you're drinking and eating?
I make a cup of coffee at work and also my porridge. I need to sit asap as I’m on my feet 12 hours a day.
