Tirdness

Hi

I am Type 2 (diet and exercise controlled) and I feel tired a lot of the time and I feel like my body is aching.

My blood pressure is at 134/94 - this was on Thursday at the doctors. Is this what is possible making me feel tired and ache?
Yesterday for a good part of the day I was asleep and when I got up I never felt refreshed. Is this also due to high blood pressure?

I often wake up with a very dry mouth and very dry lips and often wake up during the night and make at least one bathroom trip.

Any one else feel like this?

Have you had your blood sugar checked recently? I was sleeping a lot and having to go to the loo during the night and when I had my bs checked they were really high.

Those are uncontrolled diabetes problems. That blood pressure is high.

To give advice we need to know:
how old are you?
what was your last HbA1c?
what are your blood glucose readings through the day?
What is your diet? - in terms of carbs, protein & fats

My chronic tirednes was greatly improved by a low carb, increased fat diet. Carbohydrates are the enemies that raise our BG.

You don't need carbs for energy - much better to rely on body fat.

Yesterday (at 74 y-o) I played tennis for 3 1/2 hours - 4 sets of doubles & 14 singles games between double sets. I drank only water during the play.
