Hi All

have my glucose test on wednesday so starting to get a bit nervous now about the result next wk
I have one question please if anyone can shed some light -
I have my lunch about 1pm (work full time) which usually consists of meat/fish and salad with some bread and butter or beans on toast
But about an hour after eating I feel really tired and it takes a lot of effort to stay awake and alert!
This feeling can last anything from half hour to 2 hours
I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia couple of years ago and have put the tiredness/fatigue down to this but now I wonder??

Does this ring any bells?
Thanks
:)

Lack of choice of insulin for newly diagnosed patients.
Dog owners who let their dogs poop in the street-a hazard for most, but worse if you're visually impaired!
Having RP
Hi,
The tiredness could be down to many things, not just diabetes, and you need to get a proper checkup to find out what's causing it. Especially as it's interfering with your work.
Even non-diabetics can feel tired after a fairly stodgy carb-filled meal such as beans & toast. On the plus side, I went sugar crazy before I was diagnosed, many people do,;and I note that you say you've gone off sweet things.
Are you on any medicaton for the fybromyalgia?
Best of luck with the test tomorrow and let us know how you get on.
Jus :)
