Never tried it but feel I should. Has anyone any comments about it or any good tasty recipes? Thanks

You need a decent recipe and a chance to marinade it as it has a very bland flavour of its own.

There is an excellent vegetarian chinese restraunt near me and my very favorite dish on their menu is salt and pepper tofu. It has a wonderful crispy outside with a melt in the mouth inside and lovely spicy flavour.

There are differnt types of tofu and you need to choose the right kind for the recipe you are making.

I ate at Wagamamas a few weeks ago and had a lovely tofu, asparagus and mushroom salad - they held the noodles and replaced them with beansprouts. I hardly spiked at all.

There are tofu dishes in lots of places you eat out, especially cuisine from the far east, I suggest you try them if you don't feel confident about cooking it.

Never tasted tofu, Broads? Lucky you! It's one of the most disgusting products ever to be put before a hungry person. Has no taste, has a texture like that kids' toy, Slime, and when in your mouth it feels like you would imagine eating bogies to feel like. It is to food what Andy Murray is to charm and courtesy. Do yourself a favour and ignore it.
I should add that as an enthusiastic cook, I have never found a way of making it even mildly appetising. :(
