Hello I'm a newbie to the G4 sensor and have only been using it for a month. I find that it communicates well with the 780G, but I am having dreadful problems with the procedure for changing the sensor. The website says that the only place to insert a sensor is the arm but how on earth are you supposed to insert and fix a new sensor in ones arm without the help of someone else? I have wasted so many oval strips and have run out so without the sensor until I can get replacements. It is an awful set up and for someone who is used to using the Libre so confoundedly messy.

I cut the oval sticky things into two halves - because yes doing the whole oval thing one-handed in the mirror just didnt work for me either
I chop it so one half goes over the bit with the filament attached (ie the plastic bit) and the other bit goes over the sticky bit on your arm (beside the sticky bit that holds the transmitter in place) - ok not a right good explanation and I tried drawing it in paint and well I'm even worse at drawing in paint that I was at sticking that stupid oval thing on my arm
