Hi been using this for 3 weeks now is it ok to take metformin with this

What has your doctor advised.....?

Normally I think this would be an alternative to metformin......but your doctor should be instructing you...
 
I am on my 4th week of Trulicity but i still have to take 2 1000mg metformin a day but your doctor should have advised. I have to have another review in 3 months

I am exactly the same 2 X Metformin daily and once a week injection of Trulicity, now on sixth week under this new regime from my GP. Not noticed any big changes so far but also no complications either.
