If you are yearning for chips try this get yourself a swede and cut it into chip size chips, place the chips into a bowl or plastic bag and coat with olive oil or oil of you choice, next coat the chips with with smoked paprika and Italian seasoning ,you can use thyme or oregano if you wish don't' forget to lightly salt them, put them on a oven tray place in the oven about 200c and bake for 20 minutes until you can pass a fork through them
They are delicious nearly as good as chips without the high carbs

Tattoos, carers calling me lovey or duckie when I've only just met them
Test before and two hours after, only way to find out. I can tolerate my air fryer chips just in oill and garlic and herb massaged in a bag then in the air fryer. Where I would in the past use three potatoes to chip for the two of us, we find that just one chipped does us both without feeling deprived and only a 1-2 spike in BG. Definitely tastes change once you start LCHF.
I got a swede in my veg box this week so I might try chipping them this time without the paprika and will test before than after. Possibly if I don't tell my beloved that it's swede he might not notice?

Are oven chips a no go area?

Any potatoes are off the menu for me - oven or just fried, all are too high in carbs and testing shows they spike. I do have small amounts of swede (yellow) or turnip.
(turnips=the small white ones in England)
