Type 1 and having a bug

Hi I had sickness and dioherra last night and my blood sugar is staying at around 13-14mmol and won’t go down with a correction Dose. I havnt eaten all day either just had lots of fluids, any suggestions please thanks

Ooh, hope you start feeling better soon. Have you been taught how to manage during sick days on something like a DAFNE course? Lots of fluids is essential, maybe add some salt to your water to replace electrolytes. Have you tested for ketones?

Thanks for the replies yeah I’ve tested for keystones. And it’s fine 0.9 and I feel better now but my blood is staying at 13-14mmol I’m hoping going back to work today will make it drop as it’s pretty active fingers crossed
