Type 1 and overeating

I regularly overeat when I am alone. Usually high carb food then have to inject to bring my sugars down. I have a good hba1c but cannot control this.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Is this a problem if you inject to keep your levels in range? I guess the issue would be if this meant that you gained weight. The whole point of a basal/bolus or pump regime is that you adjust your insulin to cope with your food intake.
