Type 1 And Thyroid Problems

Anyone found they have thyroid problems and are type 1 I have been type 1 for 36 years but my sugars are all over the place and it has been suggested thyroid could be the reason

Busterbill, many, but not all, thyroid issues can be auto-immune (A-I) related, and of course once you have one A-I) condition you become a bit more likely to develop another.

Lots of folks on here have thyroid issues, so I'm sure T1 folks will respond in due course.
 
I know my T1 mother did, but you took medication and was fine. I won't be surprised if I have issues eventually....
 
Yes, I know from experience that a developing over-active thyroid can cause varying BS levels. I hope you have had a blood test to check this slready. If not, you need one asap.
