Just that I guess in a round about way I was also trying to be suggestive at what a partner could do to try and support and encourage whilst the diabetic made choices to join or not...

I can't speak for @mahola but reading your choice wordsmithing taking my comment out of context makes me out as "supportive" as a badly fitting bra...

This got me doing some "soul searching".... :(

I will say this regarding my "ethos" on my own condition.
I would crawl through broken glass for my wife. But make sure my BS control was such my wounds would heal appropriately..

I appreciate you don't wish to be "rude". However in a "roundabout" sorta way, when dragging up a reference to my relationship with my wife & a sense of "fair play" essential to healthy relationships in general?
