Thank you John. I tried to explain to one of them that it was like telling a breastfeeding mother, 'Ew, gross. Don't do that in front of people from now on', but I don't think they understood. I will be sending my email to the manager today. How awful for you and how heartless and insensitive of your co-workers to treat you in such a callous and discriminatory manner. You have every right to be upset and I hope you get some redress from the manager.
I’m going to send a letter to my manager tomorrow telling them how I feel.
Another female co-worker came into the room. She repeated what my supervisor had said,
I am T2 so I would probably test in "private" - but then for me it's not a life saving act
You should've done, I would have told them none of their **** business. There's way more hygiene issues with guys walking out of the WC's without washing there hands in McDonalds.I took my daughter to McDonald's today. Someone nearby commented about us "spreading germs" as we both sat testing our BG levels. I might have told them to turn around, shut up and eat their burger!! Stupid people everywhere...
