Type 1 insulin pump gastric band

Hi anyone on here got type 1 diabetes that are on an insulin pump that have had gastric band surgery. I am 57 with type 1 on an insulin pump and thinking about having a gastric band fitted, but I would love to hear from anyone that has had this done.

I'm going to move this to Type 1 for you so you get more responses. I'm not sure we'll find anyone with a pump who's had gastric surgery so I won't put it in the Pump section. Hopefully someone in Type 1 will have some useful experience for you.
