NOT A LOT REALLY.
Hi I have seen an ad for the above watch is anyone out there who has one or has used one, no finger pricks at all, no sensors, just the watch it also monitors heart, and exercise work outs. I would like to hear any reviews if anyone has tried it. Thank you.

HI, we've had a few threads about smartwatches and bg measurements, and so far they seem to be strictly not for medical use.
I found this article really interesting

While I'd love to hear your results if you decide to buy the smartwatch (presumably you qualify for a libre or dexcom if you are in the UK) personally I wouldn't set my hopes too high,

Having looked at their website it's full of spelling mistakes. Also trust pilot shows most of their reviews as cheap knock offs from China. So personally I wouldn't bother.

No, the Dotmalls watch is not suitable for Type 1 diabetes testing.

Here's why:

  • Non-invasive blood sugar monitoring isn't widely available yet: The technology for non-invasive blood sugar monitoring through smartwatches is still under development.
  • Dotmalls watch claims lack credibility: There are concerns about the accuracy of the Dotmalls watch's blood sugar readings. Credible sources warn against relying on it for diabetes management.
For Type 1 diabetes management, regular blood sugar testing with a finger prick test and a glucometer is necessary.

I’ve seen YT videos test these watches in comparison to normal BG tests and the results vary widely some speculate the result to be pretty much ‘made up’

If non-invasive was available’cheap’ everyone would be talking about it..

I think the biggest hope for anything reliable watch wise will come from one of the big players like apple or samsung…. But even then not for treatment even Samsungs bp monitoring is only ‘in the ball park’ but not totally accurate
