That's exciting! My kids are part of a trial...they are going to get tested to see if they may potentially develop t1 (my mum developed t1 @24, me at 25) and if either if them test positive they get investigated further & potentially go into a trial for some sort vaccine, maybe it's this???

I'm not saying I'd sign them up for the vaccine without knowing a great deal more about it, but WOW if it could delay the onset...food for thought.

Well I certainly hope your kids never need the vaccine but it does seem like a big step forward ! fingers crossed !

It appears from the photo in the article that the vaccine will take the form of a Levemir flexpen!
