I had tickets for gigs every Saturday for the last month and they've all been postponed. Going to be one heck of an autumn when we hopefully get let out to play
Thanks for asking. Nothing worse than life being somewhat boring with the social distancing so far. I live alone in a rural area so nothing much has changed on a daily base, except for feeling sorry and worrying for people struggling with work, homeschooling children, expectations of losing their businesses and of course the virus itself. Thankfully that last one hasn't happened yet between my family and friends.@Antje77 how are things in your part of the world? Are you okay?
Good to hear from you @Antje77, thanks for replying and sorry you've been feeling low. I really, really relate to losing your dog, and your guinea pig incident sounds dreadful. I can also understand your worries about your friend, and the desire to help. I find the frustration of lost independence and the inability to help the most difficult things, and work at remembering all the reasons I have to be grateful and content every day. Good luck with staying positive, I want a hug emoji to send now xxThanks for asking. Nothing worse than life being somewhat boring with the social distancing so far. But I'm particularly worried for one of my best friends who has gastroparesis and 2 children needing home schooling and she really doesn't have enough energy to do everything that needs to be done. She had just started looking into tube feeding with her doctor in hopes not needing to try to eat and it making her sick all the time would leave her some more room for other things in life and who knows, maybe even some more energy, but that will be postponed for months now.
I wish I could do something to help her out.
Have been struggling with some other stuff, not covid or diabetes related. Depression and anxiety have been rather strong this year, the loss of my dog in december hasn't helped and last week there was a horrible incident with my 9 new guinea pigs and -I suspect- a marten. Only 3 left, so 6 of them of which at least 2 were pregnant, plus a couple of babies have disappeared.
So I haven't been feeling like writing a lot on the forum, I found I like writing happy or funny stories a lot more than sad ones.
All in all things have been pretty much fine in my little world, just not as happy as I'd like them to be.
Thank you, and yes, I do. I'm very lucky to be able to genuinely laugh about things even on otherwise very dark daysHope you're finding some happiness and some fun
