Morning! Today is Saturday-I think! It is a little misty, birds are singing lustily and I have been hypoing all night. This lifestyle change is a beast to regulate. Have a good day all.

Morning all, up on a 6 something, that'll do me. Want to walk early as my preferred place to walk in the morning was very busy yesterday (mainly villagers but not entirely.....) and I suspect will be busier today. Then it's mowing the grass, so I'm in for either reduced insulin or an excuse - sorry, reason - to eat something I wouldn't usually. I'll need it too if I cut all the grass and it really warms up.

Hope you're all well and have a good day.

Morning everyone, hope you're staying well.
Badge worn already but only for 90mins. Liver helpful!!! I'm always in 2 minds whether I should anticipate this and give a quick bolus. I woke at 4.3, had a hot flush which indicates the liver dump and now sitting on 7.4. Do I leave it or prick it?
The arm has healed itself so gardening is back on.

Good morning all, I think I’m getting a cold, how dare it! And where did it come from the sneaky *******? Woke on an 8.7, coming down now but I don’t appreciate the blight on another lovely day. Guess I’ll have to sit in the sunshine drinking ginger, luckily there’s still some root ginger in the fridge.
Have a good day everyone.

Doing less activity than normal, I had expected a requirement for more insulin but my overnight high's have stopped and I am waking up below 6mmol most mornings as opposed to above 9. Even had an overnight hypo last week (down to 2.6), and my sleep hasn't been disturbed by hypo's for a couple of years up until this.
.
What else has changed? WFH so no packed lunches, maybe slightly less carbs but not a massive difference, weather not so cold - may be having an affect, maybe I'm more relaxed with home working regimes?

I might back off the basal for a couple of days and see what happens.

Just recorded some hymns for tomorrow for church social media (all appropriate legalities observed) and those of my own social media who are missing singing their hymns on Sundays! Piano rather than organ, but needs must. I'm not allowed to go in my church at the moment other than to check all's well and we've had not new leaks in the roof anywhere near the organ! Other people are checking occasionally as well.

Well, what else is an ultra bored organist meant to do?!?!

I’d prick it, if you get a reliable sign like the hot flush, I’d try using that as my cue - but keep glucose in hand just in case, same as with trying anything new!

All well here, chilling in the garden and streaming gigs on Facebook. I’ve had tickets to see live music for the last three weekends and am really missing it. Online is a good enough substitute for now. My garden looks huge in panoramic mode, it’s just our garage roof!

Bloods steady, although Nightscout is currently down for me and many others across the globe. Luckily Loop doesn’t depend on it, I use it to generate detailed reports.

New job starts on Tuesday, looks like I’ll be transporting C19 patients to the Dragon Heart Field Hospital in Cardiff - in the Millennium Stadium. Exciting but scary in equal measure.

Here's wishing you all the best in your new role..

& there will be a thought for you on the next NHS applause.
Which has become a rousing event in my village with cheers, vivazuzelas blown, pots/pans banged & a massive train horn!

@urbanracer it’s a conundrum isn’t it. I don’t go out to work, but live a very active life. I am still very active and eating pretty much the same but the night time, first thing hypos are becoming an issue. Have already reduced basal twice over the past 10 days, but must do it again. But if the pattern continues tonight I must reduce it again. All The DP/foot on the floor issues/morning rises have gone in a puff of smoke. Absolutely bonkers!

Hope you have all the PPE you need, you certainly have major respect from over here! Take very good care of yourself.

Thanks for the suggestion @LooperCat I think your garden looks magic
Do take real care especially from Tuesday
