Or like male muggins here who years ago was trying, with an imaginary token, to get past the turnstile into the um, women's change room at the swimming pool. I was oblivious, honest !!
Hope you have one too @Robinredbreast, that your chest improves and you can enjoy the family visitMorning everyone. Awoke on a 17.0 !, first time since I have been on Tresiba and feeling nauseas. I am coughing and my chest feels a little different, not painful as such and a runny nose too. I had a 3.6 before bed and ate 3 small rice cakes. Son is coming round this morning and my daughter and baby Cleo at 11am. Sipping a cup of tea at the moment.
Hope you all have a good
This was before glucose meters. My repetitive behaviour trying to put a non-existent token into the turnstile slot seemed to puzzle them and it was later when I came back to full cognition that they told me and understood. The worst thing was that my supposed 'mates' nicked off swimming and did not wonder what had happened to me, where I was at all!! Thankfully I had not gone swimming in the baths. But did they believe you? Trying to explain the effects of low blood sugars when blood sugars are low, and people keep asking questions and expecting coherent answers . . . Luckily these days it’s a more rare occurrence, not because people understand more but because Dafne and a 0.5 pen have significantly helped reduce hypos. And hypers.
Yes, a dispensing machine outside every public library. All TIDs have implanted chips that allow access !!Good idea, Knikki. I think it was Mel dCP coined the term NovoSluggish. I wish we all had an automatic option to have a pump!

Slip, what job allows you to do nothing all day !! I ned to have that type of job !! Seriously hope you are on something of the nerve pain and not just pain killers !!Hi All, back at work today - how long I last who knows! My BGLs have been pretty good recently so doing nothing all day (apart from taking pain killers and what ever the doc gave me) seems to do the trick T1D wise, as for the sciatica pain not so well!
Hopefully I'll be a bit better next week as off on hols to SW Wales.
So are we doing a 'stupid things we've done hypo'? As I've gone out of the front door to go to the shop in flip flops only, 'luckily' an ambulance had already been called and got me at the end of the street.
Aye. 'Twas shortly before I lost my job, enforced 12 hour nights, finished my 2nd shift, had a fry up on my way home, went to bed at 9am and am told I wandered downstairs naked, upset the exs brother girl friend and friend, made a brew with cold tap water, picked a fiver up and off I went in a pair of flip flops....Do you quite literally mean 'just flip flops' and nothing else ?!!

Humalin S that one.....
All my mates enjoyed the tale, and it still gets brought up 'do you remember when....' But tbh all I remember is coming round in the ambulance with a blanket round me....Yep I think you won the craziest hypo moment award there Kev !
Aye, I used to have a friend with a coffee shop where I'd stay, and once I'd found some reading glasses at a shop it all worked out following the road signs for 'centrum'.@kev-w I bet that story get's lots of mileage !!! Amsterdam sounds a bit more terrifying though, were you ok afterwards ?
