Hey bro. I still pop on and have a check on how you guys and gals are getting on.
Slowly getting stuff done around the new digs. Tend to read posts but never seem to find time to join in.
Glad to hear you’re getting over your cold. I’ve had a funny sort of headcold recently. Blocked, runny nose but nothing that actually slowed me down.
 
Things which could have been worse - just had two libre sensors fail to start. Fortunately had enough in stock, also the miaomiao is running the old sensor still so no gap in coverage. Off to Abbot to get a refund or replacement (last done a couple of years ago, they were pretty good about it then).

Morning my keyboard seems to want to turn Cap Locks on every two minutes, no idea why and also types rrreaaaaalllllyyyyy sssslllooowwwwww so it is going to be a long day plus one of my machine "Mr Bond" yes I have a mini test network all based around Goldfinger :) is also on a go slow.

Bloods are fine this morning wait and see if the good old "they don't like it up em' spike hits later but I am prepared for it :)

Good morning y'all :) low said Libre, 3.4 said a finger stick but I slept in anyway, I do so hate chasing my a**e on a Monday morning but I've about caught it up :) my own fault totally as I woke in the early hours at 10 so took 1u correction, Lidls 100g carb lasagne is now off the menu....
 
Afternoon! Think I’ve got a potential chest infection, coughing up purest green. Sugars seem ok, for now, but of course will keep a close eye.

Ran 7s and 8s overnight and turned my alarms off because I needed sleep more than perfect BG levels, down to 6 now. I’ve changes my basal profile for hormonal reasons, and I’m never quite sure at which point to do the switch (I’ve only had my pump two month though), so I may be changing back and forth for a day or so until things settle.

I only use dextrose tabs for hypos for the same reason as @helensaramay - I used to regard hypos as an excuse for a treat, and go completely mad. We all know how restraint goes out of the window! Now I treat them as a medical not-quite-emergency with a medical treatment. Like insulin, I can calculate a dose and take just the right amount to get my BG where I want it. Although I shoved a bar of sugary dark chocolate down my throat last week to treat one, so I’m far from perfect!

cumbs im sick of clearing mine we have a big tree right in front of our house its massive and still got loads of leaves on it i go brush them up ive no sooner put lid down on garden bin and fronts full again logic tells me wait till all leaves have fell but i dont listen to myself .....come to think of it no one else does in this house :)
