Hope you had a good time. I was really nervous with mine the first time I took my daughter swimming. But - touch wood - it hasn't fallen off yet and I now dive in within even thinking about it.Hello everyone! I just feel the need to tell everyone, currently at a spa having a ‘twilight spa evening’ and I’m winning at diabetes (without my insulin pump!) on 6.2! AND my libre hasn’t fallen off yet! Winning at life!
Boring!!Might work at home @Shellback but if you are out and about and the hypos worsens you could be mistaken for being drunk and disorderly !!!
Good morning @Cumberland ......bright and sunny here but think there is a cold breeze.....enjoying the sunshine from indoors at the moment...have found a sunny room to do some housework and tidying....hope you have a good dayGood morning friends
Another blue sky and sunny start to the day after a frosty night
Hope all of you have a very good day
No, wise, it has happened and to the detriment of the diabetics involved - some left so long untreated they developed brain injury.Boring!!
I was trying to be light hearted. I have faith that everybody on here is intelligent enough to be aware of the risks. Still I'm sure that those that aren't are grateful they have their own friendly pedant to point them out to them! Have a nice day. Sounds fantastic. I hope it exceeds your expectations!@Jaylee I'm getting excited for you ... and I know it's a bit of a non-event.
Or maybe my excitement is down to my latest work trip I have just booked.
Professionally, I am excited because it is a customer I have been trying to get to see for nearly a year and they have finally agreed to a meeting. I know it will be tough but, hopefully, they will relax a bit which will help with future business.
But really I am excited because I will be returning to Helsinki for the first time in about 10 years. I used to go 2 or 3 times a month and have friends there I have not see for a long time. I have managed to tack a weekend onto my trip so I can socialise. I will just have to remember I am not as young as I used to be - trips to Helsinki used to be very late nights spent clubbing followed by intense design meetings but I don't think I can do that any more.
Nothing to do with diabetes but I am too excited to keep it to myself.
Well? I popped this Libre on for the first time. The wait to activate it is a bit of a non event.
After looking at the size of all the applicator gubbins cleaning the site & going for it. The hallowed white disk is quite tiny.
Even on my girl like frame...
Watch out for the doorjambs...
Congratulations. I used to work on a ship that traded in the Baltic and Helsinki was always a good run ashore. Would love to go back. I'm sure you can dance off the beer and cake in the clubs! Have a great time!@Jaylee I'm getting excited for you ... and I know it's a bit of a non-event.
