@smc4761 sounds a good'un! Hope you're back on track today.

I'm going through one of my 'can do no wrong' phases, 4.9 before bed, 4.3 this morning - everything seems to be going my way at the mo on the diabetes side anyway. the trial barrier spay I ordered the other day arrived yesterday so that was quick and is ready for when I receive my replacement libre sensor (I'm not holding my breath for that judging by FB comments about delivery times) but I did receive an email from Medtrum yesterday offering me the chance to try their new and improved A6 CGM FOC - sign me up! Delivery in 2-4 days.

EDIT TO ADD: just had email to confirm Medtrum will deliver tomorrow!

Yeah Cheers Helen I'm aware that you can buy them over the counter and that Asda are probably the current best 'deal' at the mo. I'm not fanatical about always wearing a CGM type device so I'm happy to wait for my replacement to arrive and try the new barrier spray. I am however more excited about the Medtrum coming! (Full CGM and I don't react to it)

Hope you had a good time. I was really nervous with mine the first time I took my daughter swimming. But - touch wood - it hasn't fallen off yet and I now dive in within even thinking about it.

Good morning friends
Another blue sky and sunny start to the day after a frosty night

Hope all of you have a very good day
Good morning @Cumberland ......bright and sunny here but think there is a cold breeze.....enjoying the sunshine from indoors at the moment...have found a sunny room to do some housework and tidying....hope you have a good day ....and everyone else too.....

No, wise, it has happened and to the detriment of the diabetics involved - some left so long untreated they developed brain injury.
I was trying to be light hearted. I have faith that everybody on here is intelligent enough to be aware of the risks. Still I'm sure that those that aren't are grateful they have their own friendly pedant to point them out to them! Have a nice day. X

Well? I popped this Libre on for the first time. The wait to activate it is a bit of a non event.

After looking at the size of all the applicator gubbins cleaning the site & going for it. The hallowed white disk is quite tiny.
Even on my girl like frame...

Sounds fantastic. I hope it exceeds your expectations!

@Jaylee Yep also excited, do you think if we all get an Etch A Sketch we will be able to communicate with each other as one collective?

@helensaramay Of course your still young enough to clubbing and design meetings, or clubbing and hot tubbing which is what many in Scandinavia seem to do. Have fun

Watch out for the doorjambs...

@helensaramay ! Helsinki nice! We have friends up near Vaasa. The clubbing was pretty heavy duty there too..
Hmmm saunas. I seem to remember doing one in a wood cabin on the coast? During preparation in the changing area, it was explained to me that my swim trunks were not needed. Quite a liberating experience...

@Knikki , I don't know about etch-a-sketch.. (i do remember them.) so long as I don't spot trends like a Cubase WAV file interpretation...

Watch out for the doorjambs...

Thanks. I was also thinking about the boisterous gig nights? (The possibly of colliding with the bass player.)
I located the sensor to the back of the inside of the arm..
It will be interesting to see what the BGs do during a show.

Congratulations. I used to work on a ship that traded in the Baltic and Helsinki was always a good run ashore. Would love to go back. I'm sure you can dance off the beer and cake in the clubs! Have a great time!
