My philosophy about TID is with kite flying - balance, adaption to the conditions, sometimes tangles occur, accomplishment is optional but desirable, be kind to oneself and others, live and let live - to fly another day. and never your head get too big - otherwise you are hatless and will get burnt !!Ha ! @Alison54321, A friend of mine has a real Jaguar car, so I brag that I have a jaguar also ! He has upped the ante by purchasing a Stag (Trimph) so .....

But it has taken 51 years to get there !!! Sometimes a kite can be stubborn and not fly the way it was designed until some 'emotionally corrective situations' have occurred which trigger a much needed dash of commonsense!!!That's an interesting philosophy. With T1D there is no rest, the best of blood sugars can change rapidly, and become the worst, and so you're right, you can't get big headed, and think you've worked it all out.

Another 'saying' about kite-flying is : 'If all else should tail, add a wacking big tail" - seeking and finding some stability is key !!!
Well my day so far
It can only get better from here on in
G'night - 11.30 pm - BSLs stable, just past the Full Moon, situation normal, sanity level - nominally satisfactory.(a work in progress) !!Sweet dreams
Is that Brean Down in Somerset?Back in work this morningafter a weeks camping in sunny Breen. Bloods were pretty good considering !
FBS was 7.8 at 7am and 6.1 at 9.30. Got the dietitian this afternoon with the dreaded HBA1C which I am hoping is going down. Will be on her case as well for the pump again as hypo unawareness is now starting to worry me a LOT
Always got the haribos around. Going off them now they are getting more like medicine than a treat. Perhaps I should ask the GP to add them to my prescription.Chocolate isn't the ideal remedy for hypos anyway, jelly babies are a lot of peoples 'go to' or glucotabs as they are not so tempting.
That is a might interesting bent paper clip !!Thats how I feel sometimes up and down
We question our wives to our peril !!I was apparently 1.7 at one point today, I knew I was low but no where near that, even the wife said I wasn’t that low and she annoyingly can pickup on a low just by the way I talk, how she does that I’ll never know I can never get a word in edgewise!
Had a good day not doing much!
Night all take care
