@helensaramay it's bad enough when the dispensing pharmacy manages to get a prescription wrong or not have it ready in a reasonable time (I no longer experience that thankfully, the current pharmacy attached to my GP's surgery is great) but for the pharmacist to not add or just remove items is plain crazy. Will you be having the conversation with her about why it's not a good idea to mess with your scripts? quite like to be a fly on the wall if so
Technically, I am "less sensitive to low BG" rather than hypo unaware. What this means is, on average, I notice a low BG at a lower value.
I am currently in the process of retraining my body to notice this by increasing my target BG on my pump.
As today's experience shows, this is working and I may reduce my target BG in a few weeks.
I hope my DSN does not consider this retraining when my CCG decides to issue Libre again.
MOOOOOOOOOORNING! Just off to the ambulance station for a 6-6 shift. It’s a really good way to get some extra experience for my community first responder roleBlood steady at 5.4, let’s see what the day brings...
Have a good one
