Welcome @Jazz97 to the less serious side of the forum.
As for virtual gym, well that is the game Dead Space and I will be in orbit around Aegis VII on the ship Ishimura dealing with Necromorphs, Google it it's a game I have played upwards of 10plus times and it still scares the bejeezus out of me
I loved the film and I thought Rami Malek was fab-u-lous
To me this is the “Type 1 warts and all thread”. It’s the warts which make it realist and the all that makes it less serious.
And, @therower, I am not calling you a wart ...
and vice versa - I’m T2 diet controlled interloper so cannot advise on T1 but am beginning to understand its complexities from reading the posts here.Yeah - I always feel I can't really offer advice to T2's 'cos I am out of my area with that, but with T1 I feel I understand and I might be able to help.
Going to watch The Bridge on the River Kwai now, love a good war film and with Alec Guinness too
Having visited The Bridge over the River Kwai and walked Hellfire Pass just a few weeks ago, I must rewatch the film some time.
Neither attraction (bridge or railway cutting) were joyous places, but very, very thought provoking indeed, only trumped by the War Cemetary at Kanchanaburi.
Bearing on mind, I would estimate that in at least 95% of these grave, the fallen soldier is under 25.

Anyone who says war is good has never experienced anything like this. Our time there was spent in virtual silence and in tears. Tragic.
@therower its nice to be here. I think I found the avatar on this forum not long after I joined and, as I have 2 cats and like burgers, it seemed to fit - although the bread roll is probably too ‘carby’ for me so I don’t have them very often.@Daphne917 . It’s great having you on this thread.
My only concern is your avatar!!!!!!!!!!
Cats in a burger????.
Where did you find the image? Is it symbolic in any way?
Not laughed so much in a long time. Amazing night with some, let's say, interesting companyJust got back from a hilarious evening with Ed Gamble and the legend that is @porl69

War's are never, ever good and the average age of a soldier that died in the Vietnam war was just 19.
Re-watch the film, the actor's played their part.
