Oddly, since I got prescription polarised tints.
I've found I can see my phone screen with the drops effect..

I still wouldn't wanna drive. & as for judging traffic whilst crossing the road. Those DRLs are like a supernova.

Great news on the Libre helensaramay. Could I ask you what's changed your feelings about the Libre? I've often read you didn't feel it worked at all well for you. If by having the Libre you now need to reduce your strip use to less than 4 a day, couldn't that be tricky?

Libre is really quite inaccurate for me too, on the official scanner and app. But it’s a whole new ballgame to be able to blood calibrate it with Spike. I’m down to 2-3 tests a day now.

Thanks. That's all encouraging.

Very late on parade......again.
A quick shufty through today’s posts and well it all seems very “ diabetic “
Hopefully everyone is now sitting comfortably with smiles on your faces.
Nothing remotely interesting to report here. I must be the most boring diabetic on the site.
Even my BS levels have been behaving recently.
Gonna eat some cake, learn a few Welsh phrases and go climbing.
Have a good evening all.

@Cumberland . Hope you are back in single figures my friend.

Excellent news @helensaramay it makes life so much easier. i find it even easier to get Libre Link app to my phone and just scan from there

I have to give my 2 week loaned Libre back tomorrow, I don't want to, I love it, it's so easy to use and seeing the trends really help, but I know it will benefit someone else,

Do you not qualify to have it on prescription now that the rules have changed?

Night night all, sleep well and pleasant dreams.

Very good news Helen at last. I think I am one of the lucky ones, the libre itself is usually only out by 2 at the most, usually within .5 but with drip and calibration it's usually .3 max out....I still finger prick for bolus but would happily bolus off xdrip

Night all

I'm going to bed on a high after indulging a little tonight, ruining what was otherwise a lovely steady day for me. Need to stop relying on correction doses!

Ah well, theres always tomorrow

Don’t think it would look to impressive stuck on your arm either, even if it has got wings.

Ahhh, I remember Helen lol and

Thanks I have the dentist too, I'm a double D today, diabetes and dentist
