Happy Thursday guys. I woke up to a 7.5, so no pulling faces from me this morning

Libre ,Good morning y'all, Libres last day and it said 2.6 when I woke, but I didn't feel hypo and a finger stick says 4.2, technology on a wake up wind up... My little un asked why I was pulling faces when she came downstairs
Twas a pretty flat line too![]()
@Wjohn do you have a link to information about the upgrade please? Not whether we can get it but what it is/does? ThanksLibre ,
Not a good day ,,following the news that the libre sensor is now upgraded ,providing more/better information ,I contacted Abbott libre , requesting an upgrade ,only to be informed that the UK will not get the upgrade until the ongoing discussions are completed ?. So much for the political LIES ,that medical supplies will NOT be affected .Bet the PM has an upgrade .WjO

Not sure, [double shoulder shrug].Oh no! What have I started?
Thanks @KnikkiFrom what I can see the 'upgrade' is that it will offer the ability to set alarms

Can't see anything more about improving the accuracy of it ~shrug~
Seriously though I do find that if I eat, very little carbs at dinner eg just chicken and veg, my BG tend to go higher overnight. Whereas if I have a little carbs eg last night was small baked potato, about 30g of carbs, my overnights are better![]()
Just want one nights sleep without any alarms going off.![]()

Who's started and more importantly......started what?Dun't know, what have you started?![]()
Another night time low, another basal reduction tonight.
Just want one nights sleep without any alarms going off.
Atleast last weeks resistance has backed off and I am back in targetThat will all go out the window tonight as we are getting a Chinese
still not managed to guesstimate that yet.
Could be a reaction to the protein, which will raise BG in the absence of carbs. You may need to consider bolusing for protein.
Have to agree with @helensaramay on this. I have NEVER bolused for protein, I don't shy away from carbs at all so my body doesn't break down protein into glucoseThanks for the advice @Colin of Kent
I have never heard that before, bolusing for protein. How much Novorapid to take on top of my Novorapid for carbs.
Now i am really confused![]()
