Roll on retirement! (without in any way wishing my life away! I just wanna win the lottery, hand in my notice and see What Happens Next)
08:40am appointment for retinal eye screening! Will have to do battle with commuters, or at least my husband will. Hate those pesky eye drops, they seem to take all day to wear off. Still it’s a good check up. On the plus side it is thick fog, so may be able to ditch the sun glasses. Have a good day all.
Sending the glucose over telepathically right now!Started the day with a 3.8, @Diakat you want to amalgamate and average the BG out? (both start the day on a 6.7?!)
About six hours for me. One hospital I went to gave me anti-drops after to counter them, but they gave me the dilating ones instead, so I looked like a stoned bush baby for the dayMorning all,
@Robinredbreast Libre tends to be further out at larger numbers. And I guess you still get to see the trends.
@becca59 it must be the day for retinal screening - mine is this afternoon. Thankfully, it is walking distance so no worry about battling drivers. However, it is climbing tonight so I will be waiting for the drops to wear off and to be able to see again so I can drive. For me, the duration of the drops is so variable: anything from one hour to 4 hours. I think the 4 hours was an anomaly.
I am interested to know what is the experience from the rest of the gang. How long do you have blurred vision after a retinal scan?
