Type 2 and oral thrush

I have had diabetes for over 5 years and my recent hbA1c was 53 down from 57 in April. Currently taking 3X500 Metformin. I have developed oral thrush and have been taking Daktarin oral gel for the last 3 weeks but it's still there. Any suggestions? :(
 
Hi. It's almost certainly due to your high'ish blood sugar. I can only suggest looking further at your diet to reduce carbs and portion sizes. There are further meds that can be added, but if you can get diet to work for you then that's better
