Type 2
Got diagnosed november last year with type 2 and high readings. Started on 2000mg metformin and 100mg ganuvia. Lost 2 and a half stone in 5 months but now 6 weeks and no loss. Still eating well, but not mega hungry. Readings have halfed to 43. Felt so good at begining apart from tummy ache etc. Now feel deflated and hungry any help?

Hello there.

It sounds like you've done very well, reducing your numbers and weight.

In terms of your weight, how close are you now to your "ideal" weight now? Weight loss can lose up over time, as you probably know. The other thing is you may simply now be eating the amount your body needs to maintain the weight you are now. Although you are eating well, what are you actually eating?

Has anything changed in the last 6 weeks that could impact on things? I'm thinking of medication, being under the weather or increase/decrease in exercise levels?

In terms of your hunger, it could well be when you tell us a little more about what you're actually eating now, we may be able to make some suggestions.
