Type 2 Life

@mo53 - Oh, Bless Him your Grandson - is he into Dinosaurs? When I have my 'once a month treat' = Cheeseburger & Chips (with mayo) I Never eat the top lid of the bun. Oh yes got to have cooked onions with it too. Good on you Mo, don't eat the chocolate egg, send it to me instead!!! Thanks Mo.
 
@liam1955 he likes cars and trucks and dinosaurs so a transporter that carries dinosaurs was just right for him. He is not 3 until May. Did you eat the rest of the rabbit?
 
Thank You @eddie1968 I will do just as you said (have got a spare specimen pot) - though it does not burn as much, and not every time now, like it was days ago. Thanks for that advice, that is kind of you.

No, because that is all mine to eat by myself. I am not "sharing white chocolate" = ever!!! . I bet you have many, many hours of fun with your grandson. We have had grieve today, R's Son fell out with his Mother, went to his Older Sisters and R has been on the phone most of the afternoon trying to the keep peace.

UTI's are common in females but not so in men. They are however more common in male diabetics. I've had a few and felt like peeing glass. I used to have little empathy for my sisters when they had UTI's but not anymore - they are painful and make you feverish.
 
@liam1955 oh dear I hope R. is able to help him sort it out. Family upsets are awful aren't they. I'm not keen on white chocolate it is very sweet. My favourite is dairy milk.

I won't 'promise' you, but I Will try my very best not to eat anymore. Shall I hide the chocolate??? No, - might forget about it!!

I've usually always used my niece's border collie Bo ( aka Bo Sheep) as my avatar. She is 8 weeks old in the pic, a wee fur ball and she is now nearly a big two years old.
 
Been a bit of a day at work, ate too much curry (5.6 before....) and now off for a walk before catching up with "The Night Manager".

I'm testing it every morning alongside my FBG and averaging about 130/85 which I'm happy enough with (taking 300mg irbesartan, 2.5mg Bendroflumethiazide (diuretic) and 40mg atorvastatin). I stopped taking felodipine after I passed out a couple of weeks ago. I'm still having woozy spells when I stand up or change position quickly, and will be back at the GP on Wednesday for a check-up. I'd like to get that sorted if possible, now that I have actually collapsed once due to low pressure it makes me feel quite nervous Thanks for your concern William
 
@Alzebra - Yes I remember your accident a few weeks ago. Postural Hypertension is a momentary drop in blood pressure and sometimes there is no known reason. My Diabetes Nurse says that we diabetics should aim for our BP to be 130/80 or less is even better. - My BP is up and down during the day(I take 3 BP tablets a day) and I have even laid flat on the Kitchen floor because it has just dropped when cooking for no reason! Good Luck for Wednesday and hope you get it sorted. William
 
I always do 3 cuff readings and do an average, mine averages 125/75 usually.
 

@Alzebra pretty fine numbers in your sigie, good work. The woozy spells are a worry, hope you get good help with the BP. Sometimes experience the dizzies if I get up too quickly after bending down, trying to see what I've forgotten on the bottom shelf of the fridge... or getting out the bath after a warm one... take those trips carefully now! @hankjam yes, those are the same sort of things that drop my BP - I've had to stop squatting down next to students at school and I now have to ask hubby to supervise my baths like we did for the kids when they were toddlers I've had scans and ECGs done so I'm pretty sure there's nothing sinister going on, but the collapse did make me nervous.
I'm now only one pound away from my interim goal of being overweight (instead of obese) and hoping to reach that goal by my first anniversary of LCHF in April. I wouldn't have believed I could lose this much weight (8st 9lbs) in a year, I'm just SO pleased I decided to give LCHF a try. I went shopping yesterday to buy a new interview suit (not got an interview lined up yet but I'm feeling optimistic) and had to try on 3 sizes of trousers in Next before settling on a size 16
