Type 2 Life

Same here 80's was my teen years too, space invaders, atari, and pre-internet and mobile days, feeling like an old fuddy duddy lol :D:eek:
Lol Eddie that takes me back! My brothers are both computer nuts, the earliest computer we had was the Sinclair ZX81! I'm 4 years younger than you and when I talk about taping the Top 40 off the radio on a Sunday my son looks at me like I'm a dinosaur :)

Remember the ZX80 and ZX81 with it's rubbery keyboard and games like Manic Miner lol. First computer I had was a Tandy TRS 80. I remember using green screen IBMs and punch tape computers at work too.:)

Yep! Total blast from the past :) When I left school I did Business Administration at college, I remember going on a field trip to the local GEC where they demonstrated the ticker tape machines, the telex and the new fangled thing called a fax machine :D Our ZX81 was second hand so the keyboard wasn't touch sensitive, it was more like thump sensitive! My older brother promptly upgraded to a Spectrum while my younger brother preferred the Commodore 64

The Commodore 64 was a good wee computer, took ages to load games off of tapes lol. :)

I know, bit of a travel from Scotland to Dublin lol. I wonder if you can do it online but there's usually a charge. :)

I'm not sure if all of the Irish ancestry records have been digitised. But the I know the Library Council did a lot of work on making information available online.

I tried years ago to research the family line and all the Scottish records eventually went back to Ireland. I remember my mum's dad saying they emigrated to Scotland in the 1840s to avoid famine and seek work in the shipyards here. :)

Ate the buns for supper = 5 and 3, and guess who ate the 5? = correct!!

Lol you two you make me laugh! I had no buns, no chocolate or anything naughty yesterday so I was a very acceptable 6.1 this morning :D

Late lunch yesterday, roast lamb, roast BSprouts, roast parsnips, loads of cabbage, nothing to eat in the evening, didn't test as we were out to see Skeeryvore in St Andrews, good but maybe not quite together as they were.
5.7 am, a bit higher, awful nights sleep could not find a comfortable bit in the bed...
Work today and then three days off..... to sleep.
Does anyone know how I can change my font default to Arial, dislike TNR.:arghh:

@13lizanne - Anna that is not like you 5.7! You are always so Good with your morning result. Today, I am going to be sensible and I am not going to eat anything 'bad'? But, I am 're-starting the Dapagliflozin today, have been off it 11 days and my morning fastings are terrible - today's was 8.3 :( (only myself to blame)

@liam1955 ive increased my canagliflozin back to a whole 100mg tablet. Can you half yours for a few weeks to start again? I always have mine on a full stomach now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. :)

@ickihun - Thank You Vicky, I never thought about doing that! But, I will try what you suggest - for how long just to take half? You are back on yours then? William (just 're-read your thread = answers are contained in your thread)

Hi @hankjam, if you start typing there is a toolbar that comes up above where you type, if you click on the A it gives you font options.

@mo53 - Hello. And what you doing today? Sorry for leaving the games abruptly last night, - when I did return there was no one to play with!!!!:(

Hello @liam1955 I've been shopping just had lunch.. We are expecting family this afternoon. Grandson will get his Easter eggs and a 'Dinosaur transporter' ! I spotted it when we were shopping. I'll let you know what he thinks. :)

Afternoon all

Hope you're all enjoying the extra long weekend.

My epic spring clean is almost at an end, I fished the airing cupboard (or what I call 'under-the-stairs', even though I live in a bungalow) :D

I'm in work tomorrow but then I'm on holidays for the rest of the week, my Mam and my niece are coming over from Dublin. CANT WAIT

I think I've been good (ish) all week end, I did have 1 beer and I had some dark chocolate. Considering the Toblerone incident last weekend I thought it best not to over indulge this weekend.
