Type 2 Life

I made full use of all the stops! A deeply hormonally challenged organist with good, loud trumpet and reed stops at her disposal is not to be messed with..
Heehee. Wonder if @Trachet feels the same (she's nice music teacher off another thread and plays church organ too)

If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours

Is evening primrose worth having?
I tried taking it for my PMS but the high quality stuff I needed was just too expensive. We have hormone problems in my family, my mum was only 9 when she started her periods and mine have been heavy and irregular for years

I didn't realise poor circulation could have an effect on BGs. That's interesting....

Hysterectomy; cured me even of the PMS despite my keeping y ovaries

Don't laugh in Iran often woman use natural yoghurt for thrush tho I've never used it but my friends daughter does. Hope you feel better
I have a friend who came home from work one evening to find his wife in the process of applying this remedy. He was very surprised, to say the least!

Really craving fruit juice over the last couple of days - something sharp or citrusy. I have no idea why. I haven't given in to it, but I have to confess it's a struggle...

I've found a 7up with mint. Very very refreshing. Sugar free of course but only in a small bottle from my corner shop. I enjoy it more room temperature rather than chilled.
Experiment I say. I never would have bought it but I was looking for anything diet not coke. I love it.

Thanks for the hugs @maureen5752, I'm not on medication apart from antihistamines for my hay fever. I have been feeling much better since I started losing weight but if it gets worse in the future I think I'm going to try red clover. I know I'm in for the long haul and I want to be prepared

Off to bed for me. Hoping to catch up with you @liam1955 tomorrow. Hoping for alie in. We'll see. Ha ha
Nite @Diamum5972 sorry too tired but I'm hoping I'll see your posts tomorrow too.

I have found out today that one thing you should never do is demonstrate the wrong way to use a Mandolin slicer, and it was a painful lesson to learn.

Ouch! They terrify me at the best of times...
Hope you feel better soon.

Waking BG of 6.5 this morning. Definitely heading in the wrong direction - I was regularly getting 4s a couple of weeks ago. The only thing that's changed is my GP has prescribed a new bp treatment, which gives a lactose warning, among other things. Think I'm going to be going back to the drawing board with that one - I feel rubbish on it anyway.

Can you not persuade your GP to swap the prescription back or was the old one giving problems.

Hi @debrasue when I was having trouble with Rampril my GP changed them and told me that with BP medication it was often 'trial and error' as there was so many choices and it was a case if finding the right one so it may be an idea to go back and try another one.

Hope you get it sorted @debrasue its frustrating when the numbers go off isn't it. Regularly getting 4s is great - hope you can get back to them and don't feel rubbish - sending you a virtual hug

Morning folks hope everyone is well and having a nice relaxing Bank Holiday weekend.

My BS reading this morning was 5.9 so happy with that.

Today there is a mountainbike of ironing beckoning and a house that needs a wee bit of TLC, still weather is rubbish today here so no hardships there.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

I love auto correct......apparently I have a "Mountainbike" of ironing!!!! Yesterday it kept autocorrecting to "breasts" thank god I caught that one!!

Morning folks, it's typical Bank Holiday weather here - dull grey and windy There's a bank holiday festival just up the road from us today so weather permitting we're going to go up there
